Find Stone County Dockets Online
Stone County directs public users to Missouri Case.net. The local Circuit Court page says users can search public case information by litigant name, filing date, case number, or scheduled hearings and trials. For docket work, the scheduled-hearings path is especially useful because it focuses on court dates rather than only on party names. Case.net also supports Track This Case, which can notify a user when work is completed on a particular case.

Stone County Law Days
Stone County docket practice is also shaped by the 39th Judicial Circuit local rules and judge schedules. The Circuit Court page lists David A. Cole as Presiding Circuit Judge and Alan Blankenship as Circuit Judge. Judge Cole's law day is the second Monday of each month. Judge Blankenship's law day is the first Monday and Tuesday of each month unless the docket entries say otherwise. Associate Circuit Judges Eric O. Chavez and Matt Selby also handle local assigned matters in the circuit structure.
Local Rule 36.3 says the appropriate clerk in each county of the 39th Judicial Circuit prepares a docket for each judge's Law Day and prepares dockets for scheduled trials or motions. Local Rule 36.1.4 says either the prosecuting attorney or defense attorney may request that a criminal case be set for trial. After the court orders a trial setting, counsel must submit available dates to the Circuit Clerk within 15 days and send a bench copy to the judge's office.

Courts With Stone County Dockets
Stone County is part of Missouri's 39th Judicial Circuit. A docket may show that a criminal charge was dismissed, but the full criminal case file may explain the plea, amended charge, sentence, or probation terms.

Criminal Docket Movement
Criminal dockets in Stone County can show the path from charge filing through arraignment, trial settings, plea, disposition, sentence, probation, and warrant activity. Local Rule 2.4.6 says associate circuit judges in felony cases advise parties of the date for Felony Circuit Court arraignment after disposition in Division III, usually the first Law Day following disposition. If a defendant does not appear for that arraignment, bond forfeiture is ordered and a capias warrant issues.
That rule makes docket dates important. A missed setting can change the public record from a simple scheduled hearing to a bond forfeiture or warrant event. Local Rule 67.5 also says felony defendants are normally arraigned in Circuit Court on the next Criminal Law Day after being bound over from Division III. The docket is the place to check the sequence and then confirm details with the Circuit Clerk if the online entry is unclear.
Note: A docket entry can show a warrant event, but no public Stone County online warrant list was found.
Federal Docket Sources
Stone County is in the Western District of Missouri for federal court purposes, but those cases are outside the county circuit docket. Federal district and bankruptcy dockets use federal CM/ECF and PACER systems. The research file lists PACER court lookup pages for Missouri Western District Court and Missouri Western Bankruptcy Court. Those sources can matter when a Stone County person or event is part of a federal case, but they should not be used as a substitute for state Case.net court dates.
